- Before first use, wipe clean with soft cloth moistened with warm water. Dry thoroughly with soft cloth.
- Do not use in microwave, refrigerator or freezer.

- Remove odors by rubbing wood with solution of table salt and half a lemon. Let sit for 2–3 minutes, then wipe clean with damp cloth. Remove excess moisture with clean paper towel and stand organizer on end to air-dry.
- Periodically rub with mineral oil or beeswax to prevent wood from drying out.
- Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures.
