This 1-in Pitless adapter is used to connect submersible well pump discharge pipe to the horizontal pipe entering the house. The adapter comes in 2 pieces that slide together creating a water tight seal. This allows the pump to be removed from the well for service without digging the horizontal run of pipe. This Pitless adapter has a brass body with buns-n O-rings and gaskets and meets federal low lead regulations.
