Summary

A staple of North African cuisine, couscoussiers like this one are traditionally used to simultaneously steam couscous while simmering a stew to accompany it. Ours is handcrafted by metalsmiths in Turkey from spun copper polished to a high sheen then gently hammered for beautiful presentation. Fill the base (barma) with water, broth or stew ingredients and the top (kesskess) with couscous. A versatile and eye-catching addition to your cookware collection, it can also be used to steam meats and seafood, rice, vegetables and dumplings.
