The 1/2″ ZW1070XLC Aqua-Gard® Thermostatic Mixing Valve with copper sweat connection is utilized in both residential and the majority of light commercial point-of-use installations to protect against potential scalding from hot water and bacteria growth such as legionella. The ZW1070XL valve has a rapid response rate that results in a final safer water temperature of 95° to 115°F, and is most suitable for installation on fixtures, sinks, lavatories, or bathtubs. Often required by code, the ZW1070XL also provides lower energy costs.
